Constructed as part of the church's 250th Anniversary Celebration, the Prayer Chapel at Rocky River is an open structure marking the location of the congregation's first meeting place. The building, located on the edge of a wooded area, near the back of the present church cemetery, was designed as a quiet place for prayer and contemplation — as well as a focus of historical interest. The chapel was a gift to the church by the 250th Anniversary Celebration Committee and was built in the summer of 2006 by a team of about one dozen church members.
