No. 106 (August 6, 2006). The 250th anniversary celebration was "kicked off" with the homecoming and revival services in August 2003. On Sunday evening, the Rev. Manuel Cunnup gave his monologue of Shubal Stearns and the revival speakers for the week were all former pastors. It was agreed that this was a very good beginning of the celebration!

No. 108 (August 20, 2006). Homecoming services marking of Rocky River's 250th anniversary were held last week after a three-year celebration. The J. Ward Buckner Heritage Room and a photo gallery of pastors were created as part of the commemoration and a dozen special events focused attention on the church's history. Old-Time Worship Day gave people a chance to dress in attire from a different period of history, and hundreds of photos were taken that morning in April. The Rev. Bill Leonard, dean of the Wake Forest University Divinity School, spoke in March and years of special services focused on church ministry, including music, youth, previous pastors and Sunday School.
