ADULT CHOIR

The main worship choir performs choral music for most Sunday morning services. Rehearsals are Wednesday nights, 7 p.m., in the sanctuary. Contact Matt Fry.
 

CHILDREN'S CHOIR

Open to children from preschool age through sixth grade, the group performs on special holidays and family occasions throughout the year. Contact Helen Nunn.
 

christian education

Age-based classes for children and several groups for adults meet every Sunday morning at 10 a.m. to help participants apply their faith in a challenging world.  Contact Mark Ellington.
 

fall festival 

An annual Halloween festival for neighborhood children of all ages features a hot dog supper, hayride, story time, activities and "Trunk or Treat." Contact Greg Burriss.
 

Food pantry outreach 

Nonperishable food is collected every week for the West Chatham Food Pantry in Siler City and several church members are active in the community outreach. Contact Greg Burriss.
 

handbells

Rocky River's Handbells perform during special worship services around Christmas and Easter. Seasonal rehearsals are Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. Contact Angie Moody.
 

HOME REPAIR team 

Home repair professionals and volunteers working with them provide free assistance to low-income families needing help in the Silk Hope community. Contact Greg Burriss.
 

MISSION OUTREACH

Short-term to weeklong mission projects assist our own community and others in need. Recent ones were conducted in Daniels, W.V., and Windsor, N.C. Contact Maxine Nunn.
 

SENIOR ADULT TRAVEL

Trips are offered throughout the year for senior adults, from daylong shopping adventures to overnight concert excursions and several-day beach retreats. Contact Ethel Lindley.
 

sunday CONCERT SERIES

Several free, public concerts are offered throughout the year, usually on Sunday evenings and featuring both local and touring groups. Contact Greg Burriss.
 

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

One week of fun, evening activities, with dinner, is offered every June to help young people think thoughtfully about faith and lead more fulfilling lives. Contact Heidi Matthews.
 

WMU, Missions for life

Adult women highlight ongoing missions and their impact on communities worldwide as part of a national outreach. Contact Sylvia Culberson or Sherry Jessup.
 

YOUTH FELLOWSHIP 

An active calendar of social activities, fun road trips and service projects for youth from seventh through 12th grades are offered throughout the year. Contact Cheryl Hargrove.
